Russian MMA fighters allowed to compete in youth tournaments with flag and anthem

Russian MMA fighters have been permitted to participate in international youth competitions with their national flag and anthem. Winners of the Russian championship for athletes aged 12 to 17, held in Alushta, will be eligible to compete in IMMAF events this year. IMMAF has also reinstated the membership of the MMA Union of Russia. This development was announced by Mikhail Degtyarev via his Telegram channel. The reinstatement marks a significant shift in Russia's participation status in international youth MMA competitions.
