Russian MMA fighters allowed to compete at IMMAF youth events with flag and anthem

Russian MMA fighters have been granted permission to compete at international youth tournaments with their national flag and anthem. According to Mikhail Degtyarev, winners of the Russian championship among athletes aged 12 to 17, held in Alushta, will be able to participate in IMMAF international competitions starting this year. Additionally, IMMAF has restored the membership of the Union of MMA of Russia. This development marks a significant shift in the participation status of Russian fighters at youth-level international MMA competitions. The announcement was made through Degtyarev's Telegram channel and reported by TASS Sport.
