Gamrot also noted cultural differences in hospitality, recounting experiences where he was expected to bring his own food to barbecues in America, contrasting this with Polish traditions of feeding and hosting guests. He acknowledged that while the US offers advantages for sports careers, quality of life is not necessarily better, and even mentioned his children preferring to return to their grandmother in Poland despite being on a beach vacation in Florida.
