Mateusz Gamrot shared extensive thoughts comparing Poland and the United States during an appearance on the WojewódzkiKędzierski podcast. The UFC lightweight contends that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America, despite Poland's political problems. He cited examples including portable payment terminals arriving in US restaurants years after they were standard in Poland, and superficial American social interactions. Gamrot noted that while the US offers career advantages for his fighting career, everyday life is not necessarily better there. He recounted bringing his children to Florida only to have his daughter request to return to her grandmother in Kudowa, Poland. Gamrot emphasized that problem-solving is faster at home where he knows the shortcuts, whereas in America he is always last in every queue.
