Carlos Prates has achieved multiple historic UFC records with his recent performances. He became the fastest fighter in UFC history to reach seven knockout victories, accomplishing this in just eight fights, surpassing heavyweights Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez who needed nine fights. Only 2.29% of all UFC fighters have ever achieved seven knockouts in the promotion. Prates also set the record for fastest accumulation of 14 knockdowns in UFC history, achieving this in just 17 incomplete rounds, establishing the highest average knockdown rate per 15 minutes. Additionally, he became the fastest to earn seven Performance of the Night bonuses, doing so in eight fights while others averaged 15 fights.
