Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective on Poland compared to the United States during an interview on the WojewódzkiKędzierski podcast. The Polish lightweight stated that the more he travels the world, the more he appreciates his home country, describing Poland as cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the US. Gamrot provided specific examples, including outdated payment technology in American restaurants and what he characterized as superficial social interactions. He recounted bringing his children to Florida only to have them request to return to their grandmother in Poland, suggesting even children perceive the differences. While acknowledging the US offers advantages for sports careers, Gamrot emphasized that life there isn't necessarily better overall.
