A comparison of the longest active winning streaks in the UFC lightweight division shows dramatic changes over the past two years. Currently, the list is topped by Islam Makhachev's ongoing streak. One year ago, the landscape included Paddy Pimblett with six wins, Chase Hooper, Nasrat Haqparast, and Fares Ziam all with five. Two years ago, Makhachev had 12 wins with Renato Moicano, Pimblett, Drakkar Klose, Mike Davis, and Arman Tsarukyan trailing. In April 2022, Charles Oliveira led with 10 consecutive wins, followed by Makhachev with nine and Beneil Dariush with seven. The shifting landscape reflects the highly competitive nature of the 155-pound division where maintaining momentum is exceptionally difficult.
