UFC lightweight Mateusz Gamrot has shared extensive thoughts comparing life in Poland to the United States, concluding that Poland is superior in many practical ways. Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and surprisingly more modern in everyday conveniences than America. He cited examples including payment terminals in restaurants arriving in the US a decade after Poland, superficial American social interactions, and lack of genuine hospitality at social gatherings where he had to bring his own food. Gamrot noted that while the US offers career advantages for fighters, daily life quality is not necessarily better. He mentioned that even his children prefer being home in Poland with family over Florida beaches. The comments were made during an appearance on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast.
