Arman Tsarukyan meets with Joël Álvarez, discusses potential rematch

Arman Tsarukyan met with Joël Álvarez in New Jersey and discussed a potential rematch. Tsarukyan joked about their size difference and proposed that Álvarez take the welterweight belt while he captures the lightweight title, then they could have a rematch. The two originally fought in February 2022, when Tsarukyan won via second-round TKO with ground-and-pound. Since that loss, Álvarez has been undefeated and has moved up to welterweight, where he defeated Vicente Luque in October.
