Tapology has added a new feature to UFC fighter profiles that calculates and displays an opposition level rating on a scale from 1 to 99. The rating is determined by a specific formula available on the site and considers only a fighter's last six UFC bouts, excluding fights in other organizations. For UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads the card with the highest opposition level at 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. The lowest ratings on the card belong to Baysangur Susurkaev and Ozzy Diaz, both at 4. This new metric provides fans and analysts with a quantified measure of the quality of competition each fighter has faced in their recent UFC career.
Tapology has rolled out a new opposition level metric for UFC fighter profiles, giving fans and analysts a numerical snapshot of the competition quality each fighter has faced in their recent Octagon career.

The feature assigns every UFC fighter a rating on a scale from one to 99, calculated using a formula detailed on the Tapology site. Crucially, the metric focuses exclusively on a fighter's last six UFC bouts, meaning performances in other promotions are left out of the equation entirely.

For UFC 328, scheduled for May 9, Sean Strickland tops the card with the highest opposition level rating at 74. The reigning middleweight champion, fighting out of Xtreme Couture, carries a 31-7-0 record at 35 years old. The six-foot-one American averages an eye-catching 6.04 significant strikes landed per minute, making him one of the busiest offensive fighters in the division.

Alexander Volkov slots in third on the card at 67. The heavyweight contender, ranked number one in his division, brings a 40-11-0 record into the event at age 37. The six-foot-seven Russian, known as Drago, lands significant strikes at a 57 percent accuracy rate — a notable figure for a fighter his size.

Khamzat Chimaev sits between them at 69, though verified data for Chimaev was not available in the AgentMMA database at time of publication.

At the other end of the spectrum, Baysangur Susurkaev and Ozzy Diaz both register opposition level ratings of just four, reflecting more limited recent UFC scheduling against top-tier competition.

Why it matters
- The metric offers a standardized, at-a-glance gauge of recent UFC scheduling strength for each fighter.
- Limiting the window to six fights keeps the rating current rather than rewarding long-ago résumé padding.
- Fighters like Strickland and Volkov, with high ratings heading into UFC 328, bring demonstrably tougher recent résumés than others on the card.
- Analysts and bettors now have a Tapology-hosted reference point when evaluating competition quality across divisions.
