Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. The UFC lightweight fighter shared his observations from traveling, noting that Poland had portable payment terminals in restaurants 10 years before some American establishments. Gamrot criticized Americans as not being genuinely hospitable, describing interactions as superficial with standard greetings that don't invite real conversation. He recounted being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry if he hadn't brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. Gamrot acknowledged the USA has advantages for sports careers but emphasized that life quality isn't necessarily better there, noting even his children preferred returning home to Poland despite being in Florida. He explained that at home in Poland, he can solve problems more quickly because he knows the shortcuts.
