Tapology introduces opponent quality rankings for UFC fighters

The MMA database Tapology has introduced a new feature that calculates and displays an "opposition level" rating for UFC fighters, expressed on a scale from 1 to 99. The rating is calculated using a specific formula detailed on the website and considers only a fighter's last six UFC bouts, excluding fights in other organizations. For the UFC 328 card, Sean Strickland leads with a rating of 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69, Alexander Volkov at 67, Joaquin Buckley at 55, and Sean Brady at 54. On the opposite end, Baysangur Susurkaev and Ozzie Diaz share the lowest rating of 4 on the card. This new metric provides fans and analysts with a quantified measure of the quality of competition each fighter has faced recently.
