Tapology has launched a new feature that calculates and displays the level of opposition faced by UFC fighters. The rating system uses a proprietary formula and assigns scores from 1 to 99 based on a fighter's last six UFC bouts, excluding fights in other organizations. At UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads with a rating of 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. Joaquin Buckley and Sean Brady round out the top five with ratings of 55 and 54 respectively. At the bottom of the card, Baysangur Susurkayev and Ozzie Diaz both have ratings of 4, while Jordan Santos, Yaroslav Amosov, and Ateba Gautier have ratings between 6 and 7. This metric provides fans with quantifiable data about the caliber of competition each fighter has faced.
