Jim Miller secured his 14th UFC submission victory at 42 years old, finishing his opponent with a guillotine choke at UFC 328. This marks his fifth guillotine finish in the promotion. Miller now sits just two fights away from the all-time UFC appearance record of 50 bouts. He holds the UFC record for most wins with 28 and is second all-time in finishes with 20 (behind Charles Oliveira's 21) and submissions with 14 (behind Oliveira's 17). Since turning 38, Miller has compiled an impressive 7-3 record with all seven victories coming by finish. Miller's career was significantly impacted by Lyme disease from a tick bite during his prime years when he was 9-1 and close to a title shot, which changed his body composition and required lengthy treatment. He has since recovered and continued his remarkable UFC career.
