Khamzat Chimaev's perfect record came to an end at UFC 328 on May 9, when Sean Strickland claimed a split decision victory to hand the middleweight contender the first loss of his professional career. The result drops Chimaev to 15-1 and removes him from the ranks of unbeaten fighters in major MMA promotions.

Chimaev, 32, had been one of the most feared names on the undefeated list heading into the bout. The UAE-based Allstars Training Center product held the number-one ranking in the middleweight division and sat tenth in the pound-for-pound standings. Standing six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach, he had built his reputation on overwhelming grappling pressure, averaging 5.29 takedowns per 15 minutes alongside a striking accuracy of 60 percent.

Strickland, the reigning middleweight champion, improved to 31-7 with the win. The 35-year-old American out of Xtreme Couture is known for relentless output, averaging 6.04 significant strikes per minute with a 76-inch reach at six-foot-one. Orthodox in stance and durable under fire, Strickland retained his title on the judges' scorecards in what was a closely contested fight.

The updated undefeated tracker, which monitors active fighters with more than ten wins and no more than two years of inactivity, now highlights several names still carrying spotless records. Movlid Khaybulaev sits at 24-0-1 with one no-contest, Usman Nurmagomedov stands at 21-0 with one no-contest, and Ilia Topuria remains perfect at 17-0. Also on the list, Baysangur Susurkaev moved to 12-0 after a submission victory at the same event.
