The fight is scheduled for July 11 and is nearly ready to be signed, formalized, and officially confirmed. According to Helwani, something serious would have to occur to prevent this matchup from taking place. While not yet 100% confirmed, the plan is very close to being finalized. The rematch would be a highly anticipated bout between two former featherweight champions.
