Ariel Helwani reports that a fight between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway is on the "final stretch" of negotiations and is very close to being finalized. Helwani stated that something extraordinary would have to happen for the bout to fall through at this point. The fight is targeted for July 11 and is nearly ready to be signed and officially confirmed. While not yet 100 percent done, the plan is very close to completion according to Helwani's sources. This would mark a rematch of their 2013 featherweight bout which McGregor won by unanimous decision.
