According to Helwani, something extraordinary would have to happen for this bout to fall through at this stage. The fight is targeted for July 11 and is expected to be signed, formalized, and officially confirmed soon. While not yet 100 percent finalized, the bout is very close to being locked in. This would be a highly anticipated rematch between two featherweight legends who first fought in 2013. The plan is currently in place barring any significant unforeseen circumstances.
