Thomas Gantt to face Artur Minev in UFC Vegas 117 debut bout

Thomas Gantt (11-0) will meet Artur Minev (7-0) in a lightweight bout at UFC Vegas 117 this weekend. Minev replaces Trey Ogden, who withdrew due to injury. Gantt is a wrestler who competed for the University of North Carolina and fought 14 times between February 2024 and February 2025, including 11 professional bouts with 10 finishes. He won a DWCS bout in September. Minev represents Ukraine, trains in the US, and has 6 finishes in 7 fights, primarily competing in Cage Fury before this UFC debut.
