Carlos Prates' 'Nightmare' nickname comes from Brazilian TV character, not fighting

Carlos Prates' nickname 'The Nightmare' did not originate from his fighting style as many assume. The moniker actually comes from a character named Pesadelo (Portuguese for 'Nightmare') from the popular 2000s Brazilian children's show 'Sítio do Picapau Amarelo' (Yellow Woodpecker's Farm). Prates' friends thought he resembled this character and nicknamed him accordingly. The nickname from his personal life eventually transitioned perfectly into his fighting career.
