The first UFC rankings update of 2026 following UFC 324 has effectively set up two major title fights. Interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje moved to the No. 1 contender spot after his performance in the UFC 324 main event, positioning him as the next challenger for undisputed champion Ilia Topuria later this year. In the women’s flyweight division, Natalia Silva’s win on the UFC 324 main card elevated her to the official No. 1 contender slot, lining her up for a title shot against champion Valentina Shevchenko. Justin Gaethje, who entered UFC 324 as the interim lightweight champion, has moved into the official No. 1 contender position after his performance in the main event. That result sets him on a collision course with undisputed lightweight champion Ilia Topuria later this year, a unification fight that would bring together two of the most dangerous finishers in the 155-pound division.

In the women's flyweight division, Natalia Silva's victory on the UFC 324 main card secured her the No. 1 contender slot, positioning her as the mandatory challenger for champion Valentina Shevchenko. Shevchenko, 38, holds a 26-4-1 record and has long been the benchmark of the division. The Kyrgyzstan-born southpaw lands 3.14 significant strikes per minute at 52 percent accuracy, and also averages 2.62 takedowns per 15 minutes, making her a complete threat across all phases of the fight.
