Pouya Rahmani (6-0), a former ACA fighter who still owes the promotion one fight under his contract, will compete in a grappling match instead of fulfilling his MMA obligations. On May 23 in Moscow, Rahmani will face Ruslan Abdulaev (5-0 Hardcore MMA), a nine-time world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and grappling, at the FSA Pro Cup grappling tournament. The event will feature numerous top-level grapplers competing in the Russian capital. This marks another instance of Rahmani competing outside of ACA despite his contractual obligations to the promotion. The post does not indicate when or if Rahmani will return to complete his ACA contract.
