Yuza Kereselidze, grandfather of Ilia and Alexander Topuria, shared intimate memories of the brothers' childhood in a recent interview. He recalled that Ilia was extremely determined from age five, capable of cycling 20-30 kilometers without rest. Even as a young child, Ilia displayed patriotism, hiding car keys from visitors to prevent them from leaving Georgia. Kereselidze noted that Ilia was always focused on completing any task he started, while Alexander was more argumentative when disciplined. The grandfather also mentioned that when Ilia won his championship belt, he hosted a celebration in Rustavi, inviting everyone who passed by his house to toast his grandson's victory. He keeps the wine that fans gift to Ilia at his home.
