18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian Combat Sambo Championship

Demid Volkov became Russian Combat Sambo champion in the men's 88kg category at 18 years old in March. The St. Petersburg native trains under Alexander Korshunov and spars with Denis Goltsov, Mokh­natkin, and Khadis Ibragimov. He also won the junior MMA championship in the 93kg division, defeating Platon Lebedev in the final.
