Movsar Evloev

Time flies… In 2016, Alexander Volkanovski was just beginning his UFC journey. Three years later, Movsar Evloev made his UFC debut. Fast forward to 2026 and both men have gone from promising newcomers to established names at the top of the featherweight division. Old generation vs new generation. Different journeys. Same dream. If Volkanovski wins, he further cements his status as the GOAT of the division. If Evloev wins, it will feel like a true passing of the torch.

Volkanovski

Alexander Volkanovski is ONE title win away from standing alone atop UFC featherweight history 🏆 Volk is currently tied with José Aldo for the most UFC featherweight title-fight wins at eight. This weekend at UFC 333, he defends against undefeated Movsar Evloev ⚔️ Polymarket Partner. Trading is risky, 100% loss may occur.

Jose Aldo believes Movsar Evloev doesn't deserve a UFC title shot, despite being undefeated and ranked No. 1! 🗣️ “If I were the president, I'd never put him in there. He could beat everybody. I'd wait for him to lose for the first time and then cut him."

Former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson has called out undefeated featherweight contender Movsar Evloev over his lack of finishes. 👀 DJ questioned how Evloev can remain undefeated at 20-0 without recording a single finish in the UFC, pointing out that all 10 of his UFC victories have come by decision. Evloev has consistently found ways to win, but his decision-heavy record has sparked debate about whether he deserves a shot at Alexander Volkanovski and the UFC featherweight title at UFC 333. Does an undefeated record speak for itself, or should a title contender be finishing fights to earn their opportunity? 🥊 #DemetriousJohnson #MovsarEvloev #AlexanderVolkanovski #UFC #MMA

Movsar Evloev has completely changed his plan for Alexander Volkanovski! 🔄👀 He has zero finishes in 10 UFC fights, but a few weeks ago he promised he would finally get one against Volk, now, he wants the exact opposite: 🗣️ "I was looking for a finish, but when I hear that kind of stuff, I don’t want a finish. I want to prove that he’s not special. I can beat him over five rounds. He’s confident. I like that confidence, but me too. Only the fight will show whose confidence works better." Via: (@mmajunkie)
