18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian Combat Sambo Championship

Demid Volkov became the Russian Combat Sambo champion in the men's 88 kg category in March at just 18 years old. The St. Petersburg region native trains with Denis Goltsov's team under Alexander Korshunov and recently won the junior MMA championship in the 93 kg division by defeating Platon Lebedev via clinch work and throws.
