Four fighters have been released from the UFC roster. Lando Vannata (4-8-2 UFC) spent 10 years with the promotion but went winless in his last three fights over four years. Jamie Mullarkey (6-7 UFC) was with the organization for seven years. Daniel Marcos (5-1 UFC) and Vince Morales (3-9 UFC), who lost four straight after returning to the promotion, were also cut. Earlier releases included Austin Lane, Max Griffin, and Jesus Aguilar.
The UFC has parted ways with four fighters, the promotion confirmed on May 29, 2026, with Lando Vannata, Jamie Mullarkey, Daniel Marcos, and Vince Morales all removed from the roster.

Vannata, one of the more recognizable names among the group, spent a full decade with the UFC but finished his tenure winless across his final three bouts over a four-year span, compiling a 4-8-2 record inside the organization.

Mullarkey departs after seven years with the promotion. The 31-year-old Australian lightweight, who trains at Bangtao Muay Thai and MMA, went 6-7 in UFC competition and carries an overall professional record of 18-9. Standing six feet tall with a 74-inch reach, he was a high-output fighter who landed 4.1 significant strikes per minute at a 46 percent accuracy rate, while also averaging 2.46 takedowns per 15 minutes.

Marcos leaves with one of the more surprising cuts given his overall record. The 33-year-old Peruvian bantamweight, nicknamed "Soncora," went 5-1 inside the octagon and holds an 18-1 professional mark. Competing out of Los Perros Sarnosos, he posted elite striking numbers, connecting at a 53 percent accuracy rate with 4.9 significant strikes per minute.

Morales, 35, known as "Vandetta," closes out a second UFC stint on a difficult note. The American fighter from Syndicate MMA went 3-9 overall with the promotion and dropped four consecutive fights after returning to the UFC. He stands five-foot-seven with a 70-inch reach and lands 3.57 significant strikes per minute.

Why it matters
- Vannata's release ends one of the longest tenures in this wave of cuts, spanning ten years with the promotion
- Marcos's dismissal despite a 5-1 UFC record signals the organization prioritizing activity and ranking trajectory
- The cuts follow earlier releases of Austin Lane, Max Griffin, and Jesus Aguilar, pointing to a broader roster trimming effort
- Mullarkey and Morales each leave after extended runs that ended with losing streaks they could not recover from
