Song Yadong's guillotine finish of Figueiredo at UFC Macao added to a storied legacy of the submission at Team Alpha Male. Urijah Faber previously used the guillotine to defeat Jens Pulver and Dominick Cruz, and counting other fighters from the gym across top-level promotions, the team has accumulated more than ten finishes with the technique.
