Why it matters

  • Topuria steps up to lightweight for a title fight after previously competing at featherweight, making this a genuine test at a new weight class
  • The interim heavyweight bout between Pereira and Gane carries major divisional implications at the top of the heaviest weight class in the UFC
  • Bo Nickal, 9-1 and representing American Top Team Happy Valley, faces Kyle Daukaus in a middleweight contest that could push the unbeaten prospect deeper into title contention
  • Michael Chandler, the 40-year-old veteran with a 23-11 record known for his 4.04 significant strikes landed per minute, meets Mauricio Ruffy in what figures to be a striking-heavy affair

The remaining main card bouts feature Sean O'Malley against Ayman Zahabi, Josh Hokkit opposite Derrick Lewis, and Diego Lopez taking on Steve Garcia. All fighters made weight without issue, and the event is set for Saturday, June 14.
