UFC Freedom features two marquee championship bouts, with Alex Pereira challenging for a title in a third weight class against Ciryl Gane, and Ilia Topuria defending against Justin Gaethie. A Pereira win would make him the first fighter in UFC history to capture titles in three separate divisions. Topuria, undefeated and a champion at two weights, enters as a heavy favorite over the veteran Gaethie.

Alex Pereira, the reigning light heavyweight champion, steps up to challenge for the heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane. The Brazilian known as "Poatan" carries a 13-4 record and is already a two-division champion in the UFC. At 38 years old and standing six-foot-four with a 79-inch reach, Pereira brings relentless forward pressure and elite striking to every fight, connecting on 62 percent of his significant strikes at a rate of 5.16 per minute. A victory over Gane would make him the first fighter in UFC history to claim titles in three separate weight classes.

Gane, a 36-year-old Frenchman out of MMA Factory, enters at the number two heavyweight contender spot with a 14-2 record. Standing six-foot-four with an 81-inch reach, "Bon Gamin" is one of the most technically refined strikers in the division, posting a remarkable 61 percent striking accuracy and landing 5.29 significant strikes per minute.

The 29-year-old Spaniard is currently ranked number one pound-for-pound in the world and owns a 17-1 record. Standing five-foot-seven with a 69-inch reach, "El Matador" combines sharp striking at 4.81 significant strikes per minute with active grappling, averaging nearly two takedowns per 15 minutes.
