Topuria Suffered Orbital and Nasal Fractures at UFC White House Event

Ilia Topuria sustained fractures to both eye sockets and his nose during his loss to Justin Gaethje at the UFC's White House event, Freedom 250, and was unable to fully open his eyes in the immediate aftermath. He has since been discharged from medical care and is recovering at home. Topuria also removed his undefeated record from his social media profile following the bout. Separately, federal authorities foiled a planned drone attack targeting the event, arresting multiple suspects four days before it took place.
