Quick read
Manel Kape scored a stunning third-round knockout of Kyoji Horiguchi in their flyweight rematch, reversing the result of their first meeting 8.5 years earlier in which Horiguchi had dominated and finished Kape. In the sequel, Horiguchi outworked Kape through two rounds using his signature counter-punching and grappling, but a momentary lapse in the third — holding his position after a combination instead of resetting distance — gave Kape the opening for a finishing right hand. The victory gives Kape four consecutive knockouts and moves him to five career KOs in the flyweight division, the most in UFC flyweight history.
