Nick Newell has shared his recollections of facing Justin Gaethje in a 2014 WSOF lightweight title fight, which Gaethje won by TKO. Newell said Gaethje was one of only two fighters he has encountered who do not change their output or pressure even when visibly exhausted, naming Dricus Du Plessis as the other. Newell added that the only way to stop Gaethje is to knock him completely unconscious.
