Chimaev, who competes as "Borz," is the ranked No. 1 middleweight and sits tenth in the pound-for-pound standings. The 32-year-old, who represents the United Arab Emirates and trains out of Allstars Training Center in Sweden, carries a 15-1 record and backs up his bonus history with some of the most aggressive numbers in the sport — 4.04 significant strikes landed per minute at 60 percent accuracy, paired with 5.29 takedowns per 15 minutes.

Makhachev, meanwhile, is the reigning welterweight champion and the pound-for-pound No. 1 fighter in the world. The 34-year-old Russian southpaw holds a 28-1 record and has built his dominance on a blend of sharp striking — 58 percent accuracy — and a relentless grappling attack averaging 3.2 takedowns and 1.1 submission attempts per 15 minutes.

Why it matters

  • Fiziev's eight bonuses place him clear of a group that includes some of the sport's biggest current names
  • Chimaev and Makhachev's presence near the top reflects how dominant CIS fighters have become across multiple divisions
  • The list spans active champions, top contenders, and retired veterans, underlining how consistently the region has produced exciting UFC performers
