Liz Carmouche, known as "Girlrilla," turned in one of the night's most eye-catching performances, submitting Viviane Araujo with a guillotine choke in the second round. Weems, a 32-year-old American from Black Sails MMA, had averaged an impressive 5.25 significant strikes per minute and 4.77 takedowns per 15 minutes across his career at 11-3-0, but the submission ended the night early for him. Rob Wilkinson rounded out the notable results by stopping Abraham Bably by TKO in round two.
