Next fight to make? @b_allen185 vs @dricusduplessis Comment below thoughts π
A fan-driven discussion about a possible matchup between Bryce Allen and Dricus du Plessis is circulating on social media, with followers invited to weigh in on whether the two should meet next.
The idea was posed as an open question to the MMA community, asking supporters to share their thoughts on the pairing. There is no indication that a bout between the two has been discussed by either camp, offered by a promotion or agreed to. At this stage, it is purely a conversation starter among fans.
Allen and du Plessis are the two names at the center of the poll. The pairing is presented as a hypothetical, one of the "next fight to make" prompts that regularly spark debate across fight-focused social media. No event, date, venue or weight class has been attached to it.
Because the matchup exists only as a fan question, nothing about its timing or feasibility can be stated. Whether either fighter has responded to the discussion is not known, and no official statement from a promotion, manager or fighter has accompanied the poll.
Why it matters
- Fan polls like this often reflect which matchups the audience wants to see, even when no negotiations exist.
- The debate gives both fighters added visibility, regardless of whether a fight ever materializes.
- Any real movement toward the bout would depend on the fighters, their teams and their promotion, none of which has been reported.
For now, the pairing remains a topic for comment sections rather than a scheduled contest. Should any official word emerge, it would change the story from a fan exercise into a genuine matchmaking development.
