We may be getting one of the best prospect vs prospect matchups in a long time!!! Damian Pinas and Baisangur Susurkaev have been taking shots at one another for quite some time now, and it looks like their rivalry could finally be settled inside the Octagon. Earlier today, Pinas took to X to call out Susurkaev once again, hinting at a potential showdown on December 12 in Las Vegas for UFC 335. Both men have been going back and forth for a while now, and with the bad blood already there, this could make for an absolute WAR if the UFC decides to put it together. Nothing has been officially announced yet, but Pinas seems to have a date and location in mind. Do you wanna see this fight? #ufc #mma #damianpinas #baisangursusurkaev #khamzatchimaev
Damian Pinas has renewed his call for a fight with Baisangur Susurkaev, publicly pointing toward a December 12 meeting in Las Vegas on the UFC 335 card. The middleweight prospects have traded verbal shots for some time, and Pinas used a post on X on Friday to push the matchup once more.
Nothing has been officially announced. The UFC has not put the bout together, but Pinas appears to have a specific date and city in mind.

Pinas, 24, enters the conversation with an 11-1 record. The Dutch striker, nicknamed "The Babayaga," fights from an orthodox stance and brings a 79-inch reach to go with his six-foot-one frame. His standout numbers come on the feet: he lands 6.05 significant strikes per minute at 63 percent accuracy. He does not attempt takedowns or submissions, which makes him a pure striker.
Susurkaev, 25, is unbeaten at 12-0. He stands six-foot-two and shares Pinas's 79-inch reach, also working from an orthodox stance. His output on the feet is lower, at 4.56 significant strikes per minute with 59 percent accuracy, but he adds a grappling threat Pinas lacks. Susurkaev averages 2.76 takedowns and 0.7 submission attempts per 15 minutes.

Why it matters
- Both fighters are young, with a combined record of 23-1, so a loss would be a significant setback for either man.
- The matchup is a clear style contrast: Pinas's accurate, high-volume striking against Susurkaev's wrestling-based approach.
- With the two already feuding publicly, the fight would carry added intrigue for a prospect-level bout.
- Physically they are closely matched, with identical reach and a one-inch height gap in Susurkaev's favor.
Whether the UFC acts on Pinas's call remains to be seen. For now, the rivalry stays confined to social media, with a December date in Las Vegas as the stated target.
