Quillan Salkilld and Benoît Saint Denis will meet in a lightweight main event at UFC Sydney on February 6th, the promotion has announced.

The booking pairs two top-10 lightweights with the home-country fighter in the spotlight. Salkilld, a 26-year-old Australian out of Luistro Combat Academy, is ranked seventh in the division with a 13-1 record. He arrives on a run of three straight first-round finishes in his most recent recorded fights: a submission of Jamie Mullarkey at UFC 325 on January 31, a knockout of Beneil Dariush on May 2, and a submission of Mateusz Gamrot on August 8. Salkilld averages 4.73 significant strikes landed per minute at 56 percent accuracy, and his takedown rate of 6.86 per 15 minutes is the standout number on his sheet.

Saint Denis, known as the "God of War," is ranked sixth and holds a 17-4 record. The 30-year-old southpaw lands 5.58 significant strikes per minute at 58 percent accuracy, and he attempts 1.7 submissions per 15 minutes. His most recent recorded fight was a first-round submission loss to Paddy Pimblett at UFC 329 on July 11. Before that, he stopped Dan Hooker in the second round at UFC 325 and knocked out Dariush in the first round at UFC 322.
