Bantamweight champion Petr Yan has taken delivery of a Rolls-Royce Cullinan from 1win, the crypto casino brand whose owner promised the car as a reward for beating Merab Dvalishvili. Yan thanked everyone involved for the gift and said he is moving "onward and upward."

The pledge was made ahead of the fight, and the champion received the keys after his victory over Dvalishvili at UFC 333 on October 24, which our records show he won by unanimous decision over five rounds with the bantamweight title on the line.

Yan, 33, is a Russian fighter out of Archangel Michael Club and now holds a 21-5 record. He lands 5.16 significant strikes per minute at 55 percent accuracy, a rate that has defined his switch-stance, pressure-heavy style. The win was his second straight over Dvalishvili in title fights, following a unanimous decision at UFC 323 on December 6, 2025.

Dvalishvili, 35, is the Georgian standout from Serra-Longo Fight Team and sits at 21-6. He is ranked number one in the bantamweight division and number two on the pound-for-pound list. His calling card is relentless wrestling, with 5.74 takedowns per 15 minutes, compared with Yan's 1.56. His striking numbers are 4.48 significant strikes per minute at 41 percent accuracy.

Why it matters

  • Yan has now beaten Dvalishvili in back-to-back five-round title fights, after losing the first meeting by unanimous decision on March 11, 2023.
  • The gap in striking accuracy, 55 percent for Yan against 41 percent for Dvalishvili, is 14 percentage points, while Dvalishvili's takedown rate is more than three times Yan's.
  • Dvalishvili had won a unanimous decision over Cory Sandhagen at UFC 320 on October 4, 2025, before the two losses to Yan.

The three fights between the pair are all unanimous decisions that went the full five rounds, with Yan now holding a 2-1 edge in the series.
