Michael Page has signed a multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing, announced this past Saturday, after the UFC chose not to re-sign him following his decision win over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris in September. Page finished his UFC run 5-1, with his lone loss coming to Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 in June 2024. The 39-year-old said he feels "free of the shackles" and welcomes the creative freedom over his walkouts and entrances that he says he was not allowed in the UFC. Page said the deal came together quickly and was not confirmed until days before the announcement.

Shavkat Rakhmonov appears to be open to a battle of undefeated welterweights with Michael Morales, with both men sitting at 19-0. Nothing is official, and Rakhmonov did not name Morales directly, but the hint follows Morales' video calling out Islam Makhachev, Carlos Prates, Ian Machado Garry and Rakhmonov, whom he called "the final boss." Rakhmonov has been out since December 2024 due to persistent knee injuries, while Morales has not been booked since his November 2025 win over Sean Brady.

The oblique kick has been a long-standing controversy in the sport, with fighters such as Jon Jones and Ian Machado Garry notably employing it — the latter having contributed to Shavkat Rakhmonov's ongoing knee problems with the technique.
