Khadis Ibragimov debuts in ACA after rebuilding career post-UFC

Khadis Ibragimov is being highlighted as the best Russian fighter at career resurrection after UFC failure. He left the UFC in 2020 with an 0-4 record over 13 months during the pandemic, falling from 8-0 to 8-4 at age 24. Since then, he has compiled approximately a 13-3-3 record across 19 fights under various rulesets and claims to earn 4-5 times more per fight than in the UFC, reportedly making 5-6 million rubles per bout. Ibragimov will make his ACA debut on April 12 against undefeated Daniil Matsola (7-0), who weighs 12 kg less. The analyst notes that while Ibragimov has been successful outside UFC, he has shown inconsistency against elite opposition. The ACA 202 card also features Tony Johnson, who has defeated Derrick Lewis, Tim Sylvia, and Alexander Volkov.
