Murzakanov Most Successful Short Light Heavyweight in UFC History

Azamat Murzakanov has become the most successful light heavyweight fighter under 179 cm tall in UFC history with a perfect 6-0 record. Standing at 178 cm, Murzakanov surpasses Frank Shamrock's previous mark of 5-0 among fighters of similar height in the division. If Murzakanov reaches a title fight, he would be the first challenger under 180 cm to compete for the light heavyweight belt in 27 years. Murzakanov is scheduled to face Paulo Costa this Saturday at UFC 327 in Miami.
