Ray Longo criticizes Prochazka's mercy excuse, Ulberg disputes compassion claim

Ray Longo, trainer to Merab Dvalishvili and Aljamain Sterling, criticized Jiri Prochazka's post-fight explanation about showing mercy, calling it a sign of mental health issues in MMA that need addressing. Longo dismissed Prochazka's claims, stating the Czech fighter simply made a serious mistake rather than showing compassion. Carlos Ulberg also disputed Prochazka's narrative, saying fear prevented him from finishing the fight, not mercy, and accused Prochazka of playing to the audience for a rematch opportunity. Ulberg noted Prochazka didn't approach him after their fight and suggested all of Prochazka's actions are calculated for public reaction. Ulberg also mentioned apparent tension at City Kickboxing gym, with him and Israel Adesanya rarely seen together and ignoring each other's recent performances. Additionally, Donald Trump reportedly told Paulo Costa after his fight that he's "too handsome to be a fighter."
