Dana White has shown how the arena will look for the UFC event at the White House, with the octagon positioned so the White House is visible in the background during fights. The stage is being constructed somewhere in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then trucked to Washington DC to be erected on the South Lawn of the White House. White emphasized the UFC is paying for everything with no taxpayer money being used, calling it a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets at UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse, a large park across from the arena, with over 100,000 fans expected to attend all fight week events. The two-day fan festival will include a press conference, weigh-ins, and performances by Zac Brown Band, with celebrity guests and big-screen fight viewing.
