Bareknuckle MMA event features Russian fighters Kovalenko and Petrov

Jorge Masvidal's Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA event featured two Russian fighters. Nikolai Kovalenko (11-2), known from RCC and Titans appearances, dominated early but gassed badly and lost by disqualification. Denis Petrov (1-1) engaged in a brawl and finished his opponent despite nearly being knocked out himself. Former UFC fighters Anthony Smith, Chase Sherman, Luis Pena, and Thiago Santos also competed, with Smith returning from retirement with a fully blacked-out arm tattoo. The event overall was described as underwhelming with mediocre production and mostly boring fights.
