Dana White showcased how the arena will look for the historic UFC event at the White House, explaining that the production team is building a stage in Europe that will be shipped to Philadelphia and then trucked to Washington DC to be erected on the South Lawn. White emphasized that the entire event is being paid for by the UFC with no taxpayer money being spent, calling it a gift from the UFC for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets on UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available for the Ellipse park across from the arena which can accommodate over 100,000 fans. The two-day fan festival will include press conferences, weigh-ins, performances by Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and fight viewing on big screens.
