Paulo Costa has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the UFC's decision to award Josh Hewitt two bonuses while Costa received none at a recent event. Costa argued that Hewitt received double bonuses for his heavyweight fight with Curtis Blaydes, while Costa himself finished his opponent early and deserved recognition. Costa stated he finished his fight against an undefeated Russian opponent (16-0) and beat him decisively for three rounds with a stoppage. He was so upset that he personally messaged Dana White and Hunter Campbell about what he considers an unfair decision. Costa said he trusts UFC leadership will reconsider and correct what he believes was a mistake in bonus allocation.
