Dana White has unveiled details about the arena setup for the UFC's upcoming White House event celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The stage is being constructed in Europe and will be shipped to Philadelphia before being trucked to Washington D.C. to be erected on the South Lawn of the White House. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event with no taxpayer money being used, positioning it as a gift to America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available at the Ellipse, a large park across from the arena, with more than 100,000 fans expected to attend throughout the fight weekend. The multi-day event will include a press conference, weigh-ins, performances by Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and big-screen fight viewing.
