Dana White revealed details about the UFC event at the White House planned for America's 250th anniversary celebration. White explained the arena will be built on the South Lawn with the White House as backdrop, with the stage being constructed in Europe before shipping to Philadelphia and then Washington by truck. The UFC is funding the entire event without taxpayer money as a gift to America. Over 70,000 people have applied for tickets at UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available at the Ellipse park across from the arena. More than 100,000 fans are expected across fight week events including a two-day fan festival, press conference, and weigh-ins, with the Zac Brown Band performing. White emphasized this is about celebrating the United States, not politics.
