Dana White provided details about the arena construction for the UFC's White House event celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The stage is being built in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then transported by truck to Washington D.C. where it will be erected on the South Lawn of the White House with the building visible in the background. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event with no taxpayer money, calling it a gift to America. Over 70,000 people have applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available in the Ellipse park across from the arena. The event will be a two-day fan festival featuring a press conference, weigh-ins, and a performance by Zac Brown Band, with over 100,000 fans expected to attend various activities. White stressed the event is about celebrating the United States, not politics.
